Basement Wall Waterproofing (Cuddapa Stone Box-Type Method) from positive outer side 


1. Surface Preparation:


Remove mud and soil from the outer (positive) side of the retaining wall.With or without machine 


Chip the old wall surface if necessary to clear debris, and shift it to a dumping site.


Clean the surface thoroughly to ensure a strong bond for the waterproofing layers.




2. Injection Grouting:


Fix injection grouting points wherever necessary to fill any cracks or voids in the wall, adding a barrier against water ingress.




3. Coba Layer with Cuddapa Stone:


Place a rough Cuddapa stone slab over the prepared surface. Ensure it is installed with cut joints using cement mortar (CM) 1:4 that includes a waterproofing compound for enhanced durability.


Grout the joints of the Cuddapa slab with a cement slurry mixed with waterproofing chemicals to seal all gaps.




4. Final Top Finishing:


Apply a smooth top layer in CM 1:4, using additional admixtures, WL Chemical, and Fosroc-proof waterproofing compound to complete the wall’s waterproofing layer.
